I would love to play on netplay more since the only time i play right now is at my nearby weekly. I dont have a bad computer (gtx 770, i5 4670k) and my internet is very good (verizon fios 50/50) and im the only one using it. Completely unplayable when the game would freeze every other second. Increased buffer, but this time the ping jumped to 90. But whe we started the game, it frequently jumped to 50, causing massive frame drops and stutterting. Was playing with someone who was fairly close to me, lobby showed ping was 30. However, trying the new netplay build wasn't reassuring. I couldnt tell the difference between that and a console.
Trying out the newest build of dolphin was amazing, no input lag, frame drops, no stuttering, it was perfect.

So far I haven't found anyone else that's been having the same issue other than somebody who had been playing offline shortly after they had played me over Netplay. It's a particularly annoying issue since it only happens during gameplay and makes me have to let go of my controller in the middle of a match to click the box, which makes it difficult to continue right from where I left off. I haven't had this issue before and didn't do anything to my Dolphin settings before this started happening, it seems to have just come out of the blue. When it appears there, the emulation is paused until both players dismiss the message and gameplay resumes normally again (just like offline, it can still appear again afterwards). This message has also popped up for me while playing Netplay online, and it appears for both players. When it occurs offline, emulation is paused until the message is dismissed and gameplay resumes as normal afterwards (it still has a chance to appear again afterwards, though). It seems to have a random chance of appearing whenever somebody takes damage. When playing the latest Project M Netplay build, I occasionally have my gameplay interrupted with the following error message:
